Why do Mormon's seem to be happy?

Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? The basic belief in the Plan of Salvation, which answers these questions helps us understand our purpose. We believe in our Divine Potential (no, not just in getting our own planet) which gives us something to strive for and perspective on where are now.
